Destiny 3 leak was a thing that happened, but we don't know for sure. This probably honestly isn't the end for their seasonal slop though, which is mostly just fomo gunk. I'd wait until d3 is at the very least out and the game enters maintenance mode so you can skip all the shitty retention tactics Destiny 2 was destiny 1 but released on more platforms and with a reset on the mtx.

New engine means all previous development was a waste. Even their experience using said engine and coding is a waste. Might as well not make destiny because the reason why d2 and destiny and halo were all successful have widely been attributed to the tiger engines arcade like feel.
